Absolutely awful experience upon leaving Newcastle Airport Short stay carpark last night (Friday 13th at 10:30pm). I had pre-booked a 10 night stay in the carpark with yourselves. Upon leaving the machine did not recognise my registration. I pressed the help button and could not have been dealt with by more of an impolite lady. There was no courtesy shown at all. Not a single “please, thank you or sorryâ€. I was blamed for having a private registration, not putting my ticket in properly and booking through holiday extras. Anything but accepting responsibility herself. I was polite, sadly she was far from it. After 5 minutes of blaming me for booking through holiday extras she demanded my booking reference which I naturally didn’t have after a long flight with 3 young children. I had to get out of the car and retrieve it from luggage. There was nothing but silence and then the barrier finally came up. I said is that it, can I go? And there was just pure silence. That is the most unfriendly welcome anyone could receive on their first visit to Newcastle. They are ambassadors for our region and these employees desperately need training in customer skills. I shall never park here again or use your service.

We were delayed three hours - we had bought the extended cover - expected to pay the extra for car park and claim this back but the car park supervisor said no need. Tired and thankful.

Booked via your partner site avios to get my points. Unfortunately avios haven't recognised the booking or given me my points so I am in contact with them.
However the parking was as described, no problems getting in and out of the barrier, car recognition worked. Would use again.

I prepaid the parking, twice in the same week. On both occasions I had to ring for assistance at the car park barrier to be let out. For whatever reason the car details given to holiday extras are not being uploaded onto the newcastle airport car parking system. The saving is minimal, I make the booking to save time, at the moment it’s actually costing me time

We had to change car on the day we traveled, I tried online to amend the registration but it did not seem to work so I called the helpline the lady I spoke to was exceptionally helpful and confirmed changes very quickly and all went well.

Only annoyance is having to phone on exit. Ticket should be recognised as prepay somehow. This is the case if going direct through Newcastle airports own website

Very difficult to find a space in the Short Stay car park at Newcastle Airport. Had to wait for a car to leave a space. Not ideal when you are stressed about checking in on time.

Worked out perfectly. I'd read a couple of reviews stating that they'd had trouble finding a space, and difficulty getting out of the car park, which nearly put me off. I always travel in September. Maybe it's more troublesome in July and August, but obviously I can only comment on my own experience, and I had no problem finding a space, and the barrier let me out without assistance. The car started first time after standing for a month, which was a relief....
