The Butterfly Platinum Porter service at London City Airport is extremely convenient - simply drive to the Official On-Site car park where a uniformed Butterfly driver will meet you and will help you unload your luggage and walk you to the terminal. Upon your return, they'll meet you and your luggage at the terminal so you can head home without delay.
Need to know:When you're about 20 minutes from the airport, call the car park to let them know you're on your way. This is important as if your car spends too long at the car park you may be charged a hefty fine.
Drop your car off at the on-site (formerly Long Stay) car park. A member of the team will meet you there, load your luggage and escort you to the terminal.
When you get back the porter will meet you inside the terminal, take your luggage and walk you back to the car.
Your car will be valeted inside and out for your return and youll be given complimentary bottled water for your journey.
Accessibility:This service is suitable for customers with limited mobility, as a shuttle bus is not required.

The small print:- Your car will be parked in an indoor NCP car park while youre away.
- Entry and exit fees are included in the price.
- The car park only accepts vehicles with a maximum height of 2 metres and width of 2.5 metres.
- The car park is open from 5am - 10pm Monday - Friday; 5am - 1pm on Saturday; 11am - 10pm on Sunday, so you won't be able to drop off your car outside these times.
-You'll need to arrive as close to your booked time as possible. In extreme cases, if you're more than 20 minutes late, you may be charged a £30 waiting fee.
Getting to and from London City airport
Arriving at Airport:
When you're about 20 minutes from the airport, call the car park to let them know you're on your way. This is important as if your car spends too long at the car park you may be charged a hefty fine.
Once you've arrived at London City airport, drive to the on-site car park (formerly known as Long Stay). At the car park, you'll come to a barrier, where you'll need to take a ticket to get in. Then, drive through and park your car in a space. A uniformed Butterfly driver will meet you and you'll need to give them your keys and the ticket from the barrier.
All you need to do then, is unload your luggage and walk to check-in, 3-5 minutes away.
Returning to Airport:
After youve landed in the UK, call Butterfly to let them know youre back. Then, pick up your luggage and walk to the on-site car park again where you'll be met by a Butterfly driver with your car.
Youll also be given a ticket so you can exit the car park. Youll be required to pay an exit fee. If your car leaves within 10 minutes of it arriving at the car park the fee is £3.20. If your car leaves within 29 minutes of arriving at the car park, youll be required to pay an exit fee of £7.50.
