The hotel thats more than youd expect
Holiday Inn Express may be a tried and trusted brand, but the Express at Heathrow terminal 5 will still surprise you. Along with the Great Room bar/restaurant that youll find in all Holiday Inn Express hotels, the T5 has a fantastic Italian restaurant that wouldnt be out of place in Londons West End. Elsewhere, theres a 24-hour bar in the lobby serving Costa coffee.
The rooms are more comfortable and stylish than you'd expect from a three-star. You can choose from soft or firm pillows for your cosy bed and climate control makes sure the room is always welcoming. Modern en suite bathrooms with huge showers, and a good-sized workspace, show theres more to the hotel than youd think.
Being one of our best value Heathrow airport hotels, it's easy to see why this is a customer favourite.
The staff at Holiday Inn Express T5 were very unhelpful and unwelcoming. I made a complaint and to date noone has responded. I will not be staying there again or recommending it to anyone. Bad customer service.Mrs Onofeghara (Holiday Inn Express T5)

Just a short Hoppa from the terminal
All this and the hotel is still just two miles from the airport, with the Heathrow Hoppa taking you from right outside the hotel lobby to terminal 5 in just 10 minutes. You can even buy tickets from a machine in the hotel lobby. If you have more time, and kids, on your hands, the hotel is also just a quick drive from Legoland, and in the lobby, theres a great childrens area with toys and an X-Box.
This is still a limited-service hotel, but youd be hard pressed to find anything lacking. The T5 is exactly what you want from an airport hotel.
We recommend the Holiday Inn Express Terminal 5 for:
A great restaurant -Tratts pizza and pasta wouldnt be out of place in the West End, and kids love it!
Families -Just a short hop from Legoland - and there's a great play area too to keep your children entertained.
Convenience -Just 10 minutes from terminal 5, with a door-to-door bus service.
Holiday Inn Express T5 with breakfast room-only procedures
On the day of your stay:
Make your way to the hotel. Detailed driving instructions and a postcode for satnavs will be on your confirmation email. Overnight parking is £10 per car.
Getting to the airport from the hotel:
The Heathrow Hoppa shuttle bus runs regularly to Terminal 5[/b] during the airport’s opening hours.
The first H55 bus runs from T5 at 4:36am, then every half an hour until 11:36pm.
If you are flying from another terminal, you can catch the bus to Terminal 5 then take the free Heathrow Express train. We’d recommend leaving plenty of time.
Hoppa tickets bought in advance cost £4.50 per person one way and £8 return. They cost £5 for a single and £9 return if bought from the driver on the day. Up to 2 children under 15 can travel free with a paying adult.
To make life easier, we've automatically added Hoppa tickets to your basket - you'll see them on the next page. This adds an extra charge to your booking, but if you'd like to make other plans, you can remove them by clicking the link underneath.
