Famous for fresh seafood and Mediterranean goodness, Costa Adeje's cuisine caters to all tastes. To treat yourself, eat at one of the resort's fine dining establishments. Costa Adeje's entertainment scene is more laid-back than most of Tenerife. Bars and pubs frequently put on music – go to Temple Bar & Irish Fiddler for traditional folk music or Moonlight Bar for comedy and cabaret. For romance

A 40-minute drive takes you to Teide National Park – the largest park of the Canary Islands. With a landscape including huge rocks, deep craters and the towering Teide volcano, it's the perfect place to explore. It's also a Starlight Tourist Destination, and you can see constellations and planets from almost everywhere in the park. In August, the meteor showers are particularly stunning. Alternatively, visit one of Costa Adeje's beaches as night falls. Playa de Fañabé's soft sand will make evening strolls a joy, while Playa del Duque's spectacular sunsets reflect dazzlingly off the water.
