There were no car parking spaces available at the Thistle hotel. People were parking on grass & I ended up parking in the staff car park -- when I eventually found a space

Got upgrade in Thistle hotel. Excellent meal in evening. Extremely easy to walk to airport from hotel with no hassle parking and immediate pick up on return

I was greated at checked with the advice that I could not stay at the hotel as they were overbooked! I told them that I was a Travel Agent and I suggested they found me a room or I would not be using them again. They eventually found me one - not the relaxing start to my holiday.
