We paid for breakfast the night we checked in for the next morning. We went down for breakfast next morning it hadn't come through that we had paid, we had 3 people asking if we had paid while we were eating. I had to show the manager my banking app he just said 'that's all I wanted to see' no apology!!not happy.

The hotel was good. Parking was ok but I was disappointed to find on our return that all the cars controls (heating, radio etc) had been changed. Drivers shouldn’t do this. In addition a bag of mints was missing from the glove box

Great hotel,efficient check in and helpful staff,didn't eat there.room good transfer buy shuttle was excellent both to and from the airport,we were taken the night before we flew out for twilight checking and this went smoothly too it was the same driver all three times he was great very friendly

We wanted to leave our overnight bag in the car in the morning and to do that we had to pay for another nights parking ! Even though we were leaving very early to catch our flight they wouldn’t budge and leave our car there until we had left without paying - not impressed with that but the rest was ok

Hotel was fine, comfortable with very helpful, lovely staff. However minor damage detected on car on return. Hotel staff again provided assistance taking photos and giving form for us to complain. The Car Park People responded very quickly providing a photo of when the car was returned to the hotel on 2nd August, the day before we got back. This photo clearly shows the damage but they maintain no damage is evident and refuse to acknowledge liability. They also won’t provide photos of when car was picked up by them just to be sure damage wasn’t pre-existing (we are sure it was new damage as very fresh gouge in paintwork). Portal ticket then closed without acknowledging any liability. Disappointing and won’t be using them again.

Had originally booked before covid, was given a credit note for full amount and rebooked for hotel and parking this year using the credit. Also adde priority security passes, everything was as described and had no problems at any point with the booking, or hotel etc. Have used you many times and will continue to do so, have never had any problems.

This is the 4th time I have stayed at the Clayton and the service just seems too get better each time staff are friendly and very helpful from the moment you arrive and again when it's time too pick your car up hopefully we will be back again in the near future.

Simple to book and easy to use. Wasn’t able to book the restaurant on the site though. We had to wait over 25 minutes to get collected (courtesy phone was hard to find and this was at 11pm with 2 young kids).

Our experience with holiday extras went very smoothly from easy access booking online to plenty of information as how to get to the hotel (directions) also what the hotel had to offer facilities wise. They were the best price that we found after shopping around. I would without doubt use this site again.

Hotel fine, complimentary shuttle great, on time and very efficient. In room tea / coffee nice touch. Friendly staff. On suite bathroom could be cleaner, A little too expensive for what you actually get. Would recommend nevertheless, because of the location.

From arriving at the Hotel, been told where to Park and leave the car. Night before Baggage Drop and return. Drop off in the morning of the Flight, through Fast Track Security in 5 minutes. Prompt pick up on our return with the Car waiting for us. Couldn't fault the service at all.

Some reception staff were friendly; some not so friendly! The bus drivers were very friendly and helpful - couldn't fault them. Re car parking, I was surprised there were very few spaces in the car park when I arrived. Thankfully I found an easy place to park. They warned me that the car might go on a 30-mile trip; thankfully mine only did 4 miles whilst I was away. However, I'm curious as to why the wipes were taken from the glove box and scrunched into the driver's door pocket and the wheel nuts were on top of the other stuff in the glove box. Did the car have a puncture? I have contacted Holiday Extras but not had a reply. That's the only thing that puts me off booking with them again. Because of that, for the last two questions below, there should be a "Maybe" option.

Clayton Hotel standard was very poor. Having used this hotel many times we had to complain to reception. The bedding in our Daughters room was soiled and we showed photographic evidence. They told us they would try to reimburse us once they spoke with you. This is not acceptable and we are very disappointed

A lovely room in the hotel easy to drop off the car in the car park. Loved having an email on our return day to say the car was back at the hotel. When we arrived back at the hotel it was easy to ring the hotel to be asked to be picked up we were lucky as we walked out of the airport the transfer van was there.
