Very conveniently situated Manchester Airport hotel with shuttle bus to the airport. Very friendly staff, good food and clean hotel.

Hotel and facilities fine, but I found the instructions for finding it difficult and had gone through two sets of traffic lights, not one, before reaching the first roundabout where I'd been advised to turn left. The signposting at Manchester Airport is very confusing.

Clayton Hotel was great. Mossy the driver from the airport was fantastic- very accommodating as my partner is disabled. The drivers too and from the airport were great again this year. They went "above and beyond" as they did last year which is part of the reason we booked again this year.

Service in the restaurant was poor, it was not busy and at one point there was 10 staff on duty, hugging and gossiping at the start of the shift, whilst guests were been ignored. We had an early morning flight, although never slept because of the noise, doors banging constantly, car alarm going off, the noise from the room above also kept us awake - when they had a shower, run the tap or used the toilet. The transfer to the airport finished it off, as we were tired, thinking the driver asked how many were travelljng, although when he went passed terminal 1, we realised he probably asked us which terminal. When we explained he was very angry, we apologised at least 4 times, but not once did he acknowledged this, very aggressive. After emailing the hotel on my return they said they were not responsible for the noise, and went on to offer a free upgrade and breakfast for our next time. I explained that we would never stay again at the Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport. If you want a good night sleep and good service avoid this hotel. It was not worth the £240 for the night and parking.

Hotel was ok, bar prices were extortionate, food was poor, had blood in the chicken and when I complained was told it was the veins and came from the suppliers like that and there was nothing they could do about it. Completely ruined the meal and the evening. Booked an early morning alarm call but never got it. Shuffle service was very good and the drivers were friendly and polite.

We booked the Clayton because of a previous positive experience. We did so reluctantly this time; we found the price very high. It cost us just as much for a truncated hotel stay and 5 nights’ parking as it did to fly to our destination. You need to be much more competitive.

Lovely stay at the Clayton Hotel, Manchester, and transfers to and from the terminal went well. The driver who took us back to collect our car went out of his way to help, collecting our keys for us and taking us straight to our car which was some way from reception.

Raised a complaint with Holiday Extras about the evening meal we received on the evening of the 24th May, we told the waiter tge steak was not eatable as it had a nasty taste like lighter fuel, she said she couldn't do anything as we had pre-booked wuth you. Still waiting a response from you.

We stayed overnight at the Ckayton in Manchester Airport then parked the car for 16 nights. Everything from the initial booking to picking the car up went smoothly. I will not hesitate to recommend Holiday Exyras. In fact, throughout the pandemic, I have had to cancel several bookings. It was absolutely no trouble. There was no hassle at all. I wish other companies were as easy to deal with.

We booked the hotel because we were arriving around one in the morning and didn’t want to drive home straight away. All was seamless - we were picked up from the airport within minutes of arriving, the booking in was swift and efficient. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast the following morning was excellent. I would recommend this hotel.

Very happy with the hotel on arriving. Lovely evening meal, very relaxing . Very good friendly bus service to the terminal. Car parking worked really well the car was ready and waiting. But we were disgusted at the cost of staying a night on our return. Therefore we chose to continue our travel home.

Easy to find the hotel and parking was simple. The shuttle bus to the airport terminal was very quick and the driver helpful. When we returned, much later than we should have due to a flight cancellation, the shuttle driver fetched my car key for me and took us directly to where my car was parked, not leaving us until he had helped me put my husbands’ wheelchair in the boot.
