Whether you have little monsters to entertain or you just want to keep yourself occupied during your stay at the airport, you'll find exactly what you're after at the Holiday Inn M4, Jct. 4. This particular Heathrow hotel might not have the most exciting name - that's just to make it easy to find - but the M4 Jct. 4 is all about fun. There are two children's areas, one with toys and games for the under 6s and one with DVDs, Xbox Kinect, Wii and iPads for older children. There are two bars and two restaurants, and there's also a free-to-use 24-hour gym with both cardio-vascular equipment, including treadmills with a personal TV on each, and free weights.
After you've worked up an appetite, you'll want to take in the hotel's two restaurants. The Rotisserie Restaurant's sophisticated atmosphere makes it a pleasant place to sample their varied cuisine, which includes everything from fajitas to lamb dhansak. Otherwise, you can continue the exotic theme with a delicious Asian meal at the elegant Sampans restaurant. After dinner you can enjoy a Guinness at the new Callaghan's Irish pub or a coffee at the Lounge bar.
Everything is covered so you won't have to worry

On the morning of your flight, it's just a quick trip on the Heathrow Hoppa to the terminal; less than 15 minutes. If you've forgotten anything, the hotel has a gift shop with magazines and books, as well as an ATM in reception. After your holiday, if you have time to spare, you're still just a half-hour drive to Legoland, for an extra holiday treat before you go home.
We recommend the Holiday Inn M4 J4 for:
Fun for the kids -Game rooms with consoles and DVDs and just a quick drive from Legoland, the hotel is a great place for kids.
Fun for you -With a high-tech gym, fancy restaurants and two great bars, you'll find it easy to while away the time.
Fun for the family -The hotel's just 15 minutes from the terminals, so there won't be any tantrums, and your kids will be happy too!
Holiday Inn hotel was comfortable, food on offer in the restaurant was buffet only due to number of guests...it was very busy. Our room was not ready so was offered complimentary drinks. Our main criticism was it was very hot and the air conditioning could not be altered. The hotel is conveniently situated for the airport and the shuttle bus was on time both ways. Overall it was clean and beds were comfortable.Mrs Eanor (Heathrow Holiday Inn)
Everything was fine at the Holiday Inn M4 Junction 4. Parking was easy, however it was 'out of season', but I did think the signage for the parking could be better as the signs suggest that you are parking in a controlled parking area and have to pay a private company rather than parking being included in the stay. No problems at check in, but some worry for me that I had parked in a wrong area. Staff were all helpful. Room was very good with all amenities and very well sound proofed. Could be misleading about the Hoppa Bus times as the morning London traffic was so bad, it took over twice as long to get to the airport. A taxi would have taken the same time as well so travellers need to leave plenty of time to get to the airport regardless of how often the Hoppas run.Mrs Shynn (Heathrow Holiday Inn)
I assumed that bookingboarking meant there would be a parking space. I phone the number on my confirmation for help after driving round for 30 mind. He was unhelpful, put me through to reception who cut me off. After 45 mins I found a space. Reception upgraded my room which was lovely. The hopper bus the following morning was very late.Mrs Waldron (Heathrow Holiday Inn)
Booking was made with the need of children bed but not prepares when checked in. Waited for 10min. Also there was no complimentary bottled waters.Mr Oh (Heathrow Holiday Inn)
I was disappointed with my stay at the hotel. It's a journey I'll be doing often as my daughter visits from Australia via Heathrow. Paying a premiums price I had expected more. The room had a noise of running water from an adjoining room on and off through the evening and night. When I arrived credit card details weren't set up so I couldn't pay on my room for food and drink in the bar. Not worth the high price compared to the competition.Mr England (Heathrow Holiday Inn)
