Each year, their fifty-strong team of fully insured, professional drivers take pride in quickly and efficiently parking two million cars in their secure parking location.

Purple Parking Gatwick is easy to find, just follow our directions, use our map or put your postcode into our directions finder. Upon arrival, leave your car in one of the arrival bays, check in at reception and jump on one of the fast and frequent bus transfers to the airport.

While you're on your way to the airport one of Purple Parking's professional drivers will park your car in their secure parking location. Your car is insured all the while it is with them, and there are regular patrols around the car park 24 hours a day. Upon arrival back to Gatwick Airport, you will find your car ready and waiting in one of the departure bays as you step off the bus from the terminal.

If time is of the essence, you can make the most of Purple Parking's extra-special time saving services. A chauffeur can meet you at the airport terminal and drive your car to their secure parking location, leaving you free to head straight to check-in. While you're away you can choose to have your car valeted, inside and out, and upon your arrival they can meet you back at the terminal ready for you to drive away. You can add any of these options as you make your way through your booking.

HOWEVER, when we landed at midnight and wanted to collect our car it was chaos; lots of people all hanging about waiting for their cars. Arrival at Gatwick Purple Parking

You don’t need to call Purple Parking on your way to the airport unless your travel plans have changed. If you do need to contact the car park on the day call them on 01293 300 730 and choose option 1.

Make sure to take all of your belongings out of the car, including your car park ticket, which you'll need to give Purple Parking to exit the car park.

The driver from Purple Parking will take a photo and check your car over for damage. Please make sure you leave enough time for this, It will only take a few minutes, but if you don't leave enough time, this may affect any claim you later make for damage.

You'll need to give the driver your booking confirmation and car keys, as well as your return flight information. You’ll be given a unique ticket with return instructions on it which you’ll need to collect your car. Once your car is checked in, walk to the terminal while your car is parked for you in Purple Parking's secured car park.

Getting to and from Gatwick airport

Take a ticket at the entrance to the Hampton by Hilton hotel and proceed to the Approved Operator area. The driver will take a photo and check your car over for damage. You'll need to give them your booking confirmation and car keys, as well as your return flight information.

From there, it's just a short walk to the terminal while a professional driver parks your car for you in a secured car park.

Returning to the airport

Once you've collected your luggage, call the car park to request the driver to meet you with the car. You'll be given instructions on where to meet your driver.

At their discretion, Purple Parking will give you up until midnight on the date you have booked to collect your car. If you go into the next day you will be charged £10 per day.

On your return to Gatwick Purple Parking

Once you've collected your luggage, call the car park on 01293 300 730 and select option 1, to let Purple Parking know that you are ready for your car.

- As you exit North terminal customs head towards the terminal's main exit.
- Just before the doors take the lift to the 1st floor, following signs for the Hampton by Hilton hotel.
- Continue past the hotel reception, through the doors and along a walkway, where you'll reach a lift.
- Take the lift to Level 0/Approved operators. Your car will be returned to one of the Reserved Purple Parking bays, numbered 1-35.

Purple Parking will need to confirm your identity and you'll be asked to check over your car again, then your keys will be handed back to you along with a ticket to get out of the car park.

If you get back early, call Purple Parking as soon as you can. They need as much notice as possible to get your car ready so you aren't kept waiting. You won't get a refund for any unused parking time.

Please be aware that if you are late in collecting your car after your phone call to say you're ready to be met, you may incur additional charges from the car park. If you are delayed on your return you will be charged £10 per day by Purple Parking.

More information

It's your responsibility to make sure that your vehicle's road tax is valid, it holds a valid MOT certificate and is roadworthy. If your car isn't legal or safe to drive, Purple Parking won't be able to drive it to the car park, and you also won't be able to get a refund.

Purple Parking can only take cars that fit into a standard size parking space, which is 2.4m x 4.8m. If your vehicle is taller than 1.8m please inform the car park when you call and they will meet you in an alternative area outside the car park. Minibuses and vehicles with 8 or more seats are not accepted.

As this is a special low rate package, you won't be able to change or cancel your booking.
