to the airport
If you want a really special holiday, you need to start with a special airport hotel. The Radisson Blu Hotel at London Stansted Airport, Stansted is just the place - and we mean it! This at Stansted airport hotel is right next to the terminal! With two great restaurants, a posh bar with acrobatic displays overhead, not to mention an on-site health club, this hotel has plenty to keep you occupied.
When youre done having fun, youll find an extra-large room with extra-large beds waiting for you upstairs. There are three types: blue, wave-themed Ocean rooms, red-decorated cosmopolitan Urban rooms and exotic-themed Chile rooms. All come packed with useful features.
A truly-angelic wine bar
Angels Wine Tower bar has Europes first wine tower, a 13-metre wine rack with the bars Angels performing acrobatic feats as they ascend the tower to fetch you down one of 4,000 bottles of wine, chosen from the hotels extensive menu. At night, the whole tower is lit up and makes a thrilling centrepiece to the hotel. This alone makes it unique among the Stansted Airport hotels.
If thats all too much excitement, why not unwind in the on-site health club. There are a few treatment rooms, offering massages for an additional fee, a small, but stylishly-arranged pool and even a gym packing plenty of high-tech equipment into a small space. Youll even find 12 machines, including treadmills and stair climbers, arranged in front of three TVs. Theres a good selection of free weights too.
If youre looking to treat yourself, then the Radisson Blu is the hotel for you and its right on site at the airport, just four minutes from the terminal by a covered walkway, making it the closest hotel to Stansted airport. It really doesnt get much better than this, and to prove it, the hotel gives a guarantee that, if youre not 100% satisfied, youll stay for free.
