wasnt expected when i came home. stuck at the barrier with que behind me. All traffic had to reverse ( very embarassing ) then i had to go to the office for them to raise barrier! Luckily i had my printout of payment with me!

Was further away than expected and took us a while to find a space, couldnt find the disabled at all, so was difficult for my dad and took us a while to get to the airport as it was too far away for him really. Didnt see any staff to assist either on arrival or departure.

Upon arrival the Licence Plate Recognition System was not working, and I was issued with a ticket. The ticket required validation at another part of the airpot complex upon return, in order to exit the car park.

The car park was very good and good value for money. We thought we'd lost our ticket when we got to the barrier and pressed the button for help. The member of staff was very helpful and friendly.

Generally good service but walk to airport proved tricky with a trolley as kerbs weren't flat enough. It took 2 people to get trolley over bumps. Number plate recognition...excellent. Also a bit of a pain having to get card validated in multi-story carpark before leaving.

Suitcases are a bit heavier than I rmembered! but if we had had the wheeled variety the distance to the car would not have seemed so long. It was genuinely only 5 minutes from the airport. We were lucky, however that it wasn't raining. The extra we paid for easy-check-in was well worth it.

Prepaid car parking at LPL was a no hassle experience at a good price. Collect ticket at the Entry barrier, park car, retain keys. On the return, drive car to Exit barrier, insert the entry ticket and drive away. It does not get both easier and safer than that. Automatic validation against vehicle registration. No queues at payment machines. No inserting of credit cards. No handing over of keys and hoping the car will be driven, parked and looked after OK.
